Biography

Dr. Saumya Shah received her Ph.D. degree from IIT (BHU) Varanasi in Machine Design specialization. Prior to that, she did M.Tech from NIT Allahabad. Her research work is related to Fracture Mechanics. Her PhD work deals with the evaluation of mixed-mode fracture behavior of graphite/epoxy composite specimen with bimodular material property under thermo-mechanical coupled field. She has published 9 SCI indexed journals. Also, 1 patent has been published and got copyright on 4 equations in Elsevier publication. She worked as JRF in BRNS project before PhD. Her interesting area of research includes composites, finite element method and fracture mechanics.


Dr. Hemant Nautiyal received his doctorate from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, specialized in Production Engineering and completed his Master from NIT Rourkela. He has an expertise in Metal Matrix Composites, Tribology, Fatigue and Fracture. Besides, he is currently working on the mechanical property’s aspects of bio-implant materials and space tribology. He has published one patent work and many research articles in high impact journals. Currently he is working in Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University as an Assistant Professor.


Dr. Gaurav Gugliani received his doctorate from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, specialized in Thermal and Fluid Engineering and completed his Master from NIT Rourkela. He has an expertise in Matlab coding, Material Characterization and Statistics and Parameters estimation of data. Besides, he is currently working on the wind turbine parameters identification and wind resource assessments. He has published many research articles in high impact journals. Currently he is working in Mandsaur University as an Assistant Professor.


Dr. Ashwani Kumar received Ph.D. (Mechanical Engineering) in the area of Mechanical Vibration and Design. He is currently working as Senior Lecturer, Mechanical Engineering (Gazetted Officer Group B) at Technical Education Department Uttar Pradesh (under Government of Uttar Pradesh) Kanpur, India since December 2013. He has worked as Assistant Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graphic Era University Dehradun India (NIRF Ranking 55) from July 2010 to November 2013. He has more than 13 years of research, academic and administrative experience including Coordinator for AICTE-Extension of Approval, Nodal officer for PMKVY-TI Scheme (Government of India), internal coordinator-CDTP scheme (Government of Uttar Pradesh), Industry Academia relation officer, Assistant Centre Superintendent (ACS)-Institute Examination Cell, Zonal Officer to conduct Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Diploma), Sector Magistrate for Lok Sabha- Vidhan Sabha Election etc. Being an academician and researcher, he is Series Editor of 4 book series Advances in Manufacturing, Design and Computational Intelligence Techniques1/ Renewable and Sustainable Energy Developments2/ Smart Innovations and Technological Advancements in Mechanical and Materials Engineering3/ Computational Intelligence and Biomedical Engineering4 published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis USA)1-3 and Wiley Scrivener Publishing4 USA. He has delivered many invited talks in webinar, FDP and Workshops. He has been awarded as Best Teacher for excellence in academic and research. He has successfully guided 15 B.Tech., M.Tech and Ph.D. thesis. He is external doctoral committee member of S.R.M. University, New Delhi. He is currently involved in the research area of AI & ML in Mechanical Engineering, Smart Materials & Manufacturing Techniques, Thermal Energy Storage, Building Efficiency, Renewable Energy Harvesting, Sustainable Transportation and Heavy Vehicle Dynamics. Tanuj Namboodri is a Ph.D. researcher in Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, Russia. He holds a master’s degree in Machine Building Technology from Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University, Russia and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Uttarakhand Technical University in India. Tanuj's research interests lie in CAD/CAM machining technology, process parameters optimization, design and modelling of dynamic systems. He has published several articles in high impact journals. He is editorial and reviewer board member of many international journals. As a reviewer, he has reviewed many books across various genres and helped authors improve their work through thoughtful feedback and suggestions.


Dr. Yogesh Kumar Singla, is a Research Associate at University of Idaho, USA. Earlier he was a Research Associate at Case Western Reserve University, USA. He has done his Ph.D. from IIT Roorkee. He has more than 6 years of research and teaching experience. He is working in the area of Manufacturing, Welding, Surface Engineering, Tribology, Materials Characterization, Welding Metallurgy and Mechanical Behavior of Metals. He has 13 SCI publications and 05 Scopus Indexed publications. Apart from this, 4 SCI papers are in-process. In his career, he has successfully guided 1 Ph.D. and 4 M.E. theses. He is a reviewer of many SCI journals of Elsevier and Springer having impact factor ranging from 0.743-7.72. He has filed a utility patent on the utilization of nano fly ash has already been filed. He has given many expert talks at State and Central Level Institutes/Universities. He also has the experience of conducting 10 days Faculty Development Program. In addition to this, he has edited two Books entitled “Advanced Computational Methods in Mechanical and Materials Engineering” and “Advanced Materials for Bio-Mechanical Applications” that have been published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis Group https://taylorandfrancis.com/books/) in 2021 and 2022.
