Biography
Dhanaji W. Patil, PhD, is working as Head and Assistant Professor in the Department of Fishery Science, Toshniwal Arts at Commerce and Science College, Maharashtra, India. He has successfully led and completed two research projects funded by the Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission, Mumbai, India. He has published over 20 research articles and one edited book along with several book chapters and extension publications. He has organized and conducted training programs on aquaculture and fish seed production technologies for farmers and fishermen and faculty development programs for the teaching community throughout India. Dr. Patil completed his PhD in Fishery Science at Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, Maharashtra, India.
Sandip Markad, PhD, is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fishery Science at Toshniwal Arts, Commerce and Science College, Sengaon, Maharashtra, India. He has published his research work through over 20 research articles and several books along with book chapters and popular extension articles. He has successfully completed research projects sanctioned by the Rajiv Gandhi Science and Technology Commission, Mumbai, India. He has organized training programs on fish seed production and aquaculture techniques for fishermen and farmers and faculty development programs for teaching faculties in India. He is also engaged in extension activities for fishermen and farmers of the region through the Department of Fisheries, Hingoli (Govt of Maharashtra). Dr. Markad earned his PhD in Fishery Science at Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded, Maharashtra, India.
