Biography

Norberto Urrutia Cobo was born in Morales, Colombia in 1953. His first degree was in Agricultural Engineering, from the Valle University in Cali. He has studied at the International Experimentation Centre (CEDEX) in Madrid, and obtained a diploma in Hydraulic Engineering from UNESCO-IHE Delft in 1995. He currently lectures at the Environment and Natural Resources School at Valle University in areas such as fluid mechanics, applied hydraulics, irrigation and drainage. His fieldwork was carried out in Colombia.
