Biography
Dr. Md. Mamun Habib is a Professor and Head of the Department of Management, School of Business and Entrepreneurship Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and Visiting Scientist at the University of Texas – Arlington, USA, with additional visiting professorships across Malaysia, the Philippines, China, and Indonesia. With more than 23 years of academic experience, he has published over 250 research papers, at least 75 of which are indexed in Web of Science/Scopus. He serves on over 50 journal editorial boards, has delivered keynote speeches at more than 100 international conferences, and has conducted over 250 webinars and workshops globally. Prof. Habib earned his Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer and Engineering Management from Assumption University, Thailand, specializing in supply chain management. His profile featured in BRITISHPEDIA as “Successful People in Malaysia and Singapore” by British Publication House, UK.
Prof. Habib is an active member of various professional organizations, including IEEE (Senior Member); IEOM, USA; Chartered Fellow (FCILT), VCARE Academy, Canada; AICRO, Australia, among others. He is involved in Business School Accreditation, particularly as an AACSB Virtual Ambassador and ACBSP Evaluator, contributes to QS World University Rankings and Times Higher Education as an academician, and consults for organizations including AmCham, USAID, and BAFFA.
Dr. Ferdoush Saleheen serves as the Head of the Department of Maritime Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Sharjah Maritime Academy, UAE, bringing over 20 years of combined industry and academic experience as a recognized specialist in supply chain transformation. He holds a PhD in Operations Management (specialized in Supply Chain Management) from Universiti Utara Malaysia, an MS in Logistics from University of Texas at Arlington, USA, and an MBA from Victoria University, Malaysia. A Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT International, UK), Dr. Saleheen has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications indexed in Scopus, Web of Science, and other reputable databases, and contributes to the academic community through editorial roles in international supply chain journals. His work centers on advancing supply chain capabilities within manufacturing and retail environments, with a strong emphasis on resilience, performance measurement frameworks, and strategic alignment, effectively bridging practice and scholarship through substantial professional exposure and involvement in MBA/EMBA level teaching. He has also served at Higher Colleges of Technology, the largest federal higher education institution in the United Arab Emirates, further strengthening his academic and institutional leadership profile.
