Biography
R.D. Gupta is Professor in Soil Microbiology and Pedology. He has served at Punjab Agricultural University Ludhiana, CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya Palampur, and Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology Jammu. He holds a Ph.D. in Agriculture from CSKHPKV Palampur, an M.Sc. in Agriculture from Ranchi University, and a postgraduate diploma in Ecology and Environment from Indian Institute of Environment, New Delhi. He has published over 150 research papers, reviews, and book chapters, and authored several books on soil resources, environment management, and sustainable agriculture. He is Vice President of Paryavaran Sanstha of Jammu and Kashmir.
S.K. Gupta is Professor and Head in the Division of Plant Breeding and Genetics at Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Jammu. He holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. He has published over 100 research papers in national and international journals and developed eight varieties of rapeseed-mustard. He has authored books on plant breeding and edited volumes on rapeseed breeding. He was awarded the Young Scientist Award by the State Department of Science and Technology.
Anil Mahajan is Territory Manager, Business Development at Bayer Bioscience Pvt Ltd. He holds a Ph.D. in Soil Physics, an M.Sc. in Soil Chemistry and Fertility, and a B.Sc. in Agriculture with specialization in Plant Protection from CSK Himachal Pradesh Krishi Vishvavidyalaya Palampur. He has worked as Senior Research Fellow and Research Associate on ICAR-funded projects related to geographic information systems and integrated nutrient management. He has published research papers in soil science and qualified ICAR National Eligibility Test in Soil Science.
