    Biography

    Dr. Chandan Swaroop Meena is presently working as a Scientist in Building Energy Efficiency Department and Assistant Professor in Academy of Scientific & Innovative Research (AcSIR) at CSIR-Central Building Research Institute, Roorkee (Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India). He has done his Ph.D. in thermal engineering from IIT Roorkee, and M. Tech in thermal engineering from NIT Kurukshetra. He does research in renewable energy utilization techniques, geothermal systems, building energy efficiency, two-phase flow, heat transfer. He is Life Member of Indian Society of Heat and Mass Transfer (ISHMT), Life Member of India Building Congress (IBC), and Life Member of The Institution of Engineers India (IEI). He has published 29 research articles in reputed Journals and International Conferences. He is associated with International Conferences as Invited Speaker/ Advisory Board/Review Board member. He has delivered many invited talks in webinar, FDP and Workshops.

    Dr. Ashwani Kumar received Ph.D. (Mechanical Engineering) in the area of Mechanical Vibration and Design.  He is currently working as Senior Lecturer, Mechanical Engineering (Gazetted Officer Group B) at Technical Education Department Uttar Pradesh (under Government of Uttar Pradesh) Kanpur, India since December 2013. He has worked as Assistant Professor in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Graphic Era University Dehradun India (NIRF Ranking 55) from July 2010 to November 2013. He has more than 13 years of research, academic and administrative experience including Coordinator for AICTE-Extension of Approval, Nodal officer for PMKVY-TI Scheme (Government of India), internal coordinator-CDTP scheme (Government of Uttar Pradesh), Industry Academia relation officer, Assistant Centre Superintendent (ACS)-Institute Examination Cell, Zonal Officer to conduct Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Diploma), Sector Magistrate for Lok Sabha- Vidhan Sabha Election etc. Being an academician and researcher, he is Series Editor of 5 book series Advances in Manufacturing, Design and Computational Intelligence Techniques1/ Renewable and Sustainable Energy Developments2/ Smart Innovations and Technological Advancements in Mechanical and Materials Engineering3/ Solar Thermal Energy Systems: Advancements in Engineering, Ergonomics, and Sustainable Development4/ Computational Intelligence and Biomedical Engineering5 published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis USA)1-4 and Wiley Scrivener Publishing5 USA.     Dr. Varun Pratap Singh received Ph.D. (Mechanical Engineering) in the area of Solar Energy. He is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Head-Solar Energy Centre at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Dehradun India. He has more than 11 years of research and academic experience in mechanical engineering and renewable energy. He has published 03 patent, 05 research articles in SCI journals and conferences. completed five projects as Principal Investigator (PI) and two projects as Co-PI with a total research grant of more than twenty lakh INR for government as well as Industry partners. He has delivered many invited talks in webinar, FDP and Workshops and attended 15+ MOOCs and 15+ FDPs from various national bodies like IITs, AICTE and international bodies like Delft University of Technology-Netherlands, Tsinghua University-China, National Chiao Tung University- Taiwan and The International Monetary Fund (IMF).   He has been awarded as Award for outstanding mentoring of students and Perfect faculty award for excellence in academic and research. He has successfully guided 16 B.Tech., M. Tech and Ph.D. thesis. In administration he is working as head for Centre of Excellence, COER.     Dr. Aritra Ghosh, Assistant Professor specializing in integrated renewables at the Renewable Energy Research Group within the esteemed University of Exeter in the United Kingdom, has emerged as a distinguished figure in the field of Applied Energy. In 2016, Dr. Ghosh achieved the pinnacle of academic excellence by obtaining his Ph.D. in Applied Energy from the Technological University of Dublin in Ireland laying the foundation for a remarkable career in renewable energy research. Dr. Ghosh has significantly contributed to the scientific community through the publication of more than 150 articles in leading peer-reviewed journals. He is not only a prolific researcher but also a dynamic and engaged academic. His active participation in international conferences, where he presents his groundbreaking work, has solidified his presence on the global stage. Furthermore, he is sought after as an expert speaker, delivering invited talks that disseminate knowledge and insights garnered from his extensive research endeavours.
