Biography
Aida Cardoso is an Invited Adjunct Professor at the Lisbon School of Education (ESELx), Instituto Politécnico de Lisboa, and a Lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (FCSH), NOVA University Lisbon. She is a collaborating researcher at the Linguistics Research Centre of NOVA University Lisbon (CLUNL). She received her Ph.D. in Linguistics from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Her research interests include Second Language Acquisition, Syntax, and Corpus Linguistics.
Anabela Rato is an Associate Professor of Linguistics in the Department of Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Latin American Studies at the University of Toronto, Canada. She holds a Ph.D. in Language Sciences from the University of Minho, Portugal. Her research focuses on Second Language and Heritage Language Speech Acquisition and Experimental Phonetics.
