Biography

Jafar Ghazanfarian has been an Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Zanjan, Iran since 2016. He holds a PhD and MSc degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology, Iran (Tehran Polytechnics) and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Tehran, Iran. He has published more than 45 full papers in WOS-indexed journals, 40 conference papers, and 2 book chapters. He is also the author of the textbook Applied Continuum Mechanics for Thermofluids (CRC Press, 2024). Dr. Ghazanfarian chairs the “Complex Heat and Flow Simulation (CHFS)” research group and is a member of the Planning and Achievement Monitoring Committee of Iranian Society of Engineering Education as well as the Education Committee of Zanjan’s Building Engineering Organization. He has also presented a TEDx talk about the connection between Mathematics and Art.
