About the Editors

Dr Mostafa Khalil (MBChB) is a newly graduated foundation doctor with interest in ophthalmology from the University of Dundee working in Ninewells Hospital and Medical School, Dundee, UK.

He scored 5th (out of 370) in the Duke Elder Examination of Ophthalmology in 2018 (top 1.35%). During his medical school, he was awarded the George Tudhope Rankin prize for the top scoring student in Finals Exam, and also the Dr AR Moodie Prize in Ophthalmology for the best performing student in ophthalmology. He has also co-developed and taught a three-month teaching program for the Duke Elder Exam.

Mr Omar Kouli is a 4th year medical student at the University of Dundee. He scored 4th (out of 370) in the Duke Elder Examination of Ophthalmology in 2018 (top 1.08%), and also awarded 1st place in the National Undergraduate Neuroanatomy competition 2018. He has also co-developed a three-month teaching program for the Duke Elder Exam at the University of Dundee
