Biography

Adnan Seyaz received his PhD from the Department of International Relations at the University of Marmara, Turkey. His thesis was titled “Democratic Experience in the Post-Soviet Russian Federation: Competitive Authoritarianism.” He has been working as a member of the International Relations Department at Kirklareli University, Turkey, since 2009. His areas of research and teaching include Turkish–Russian relations and regional politics, the Balkans in the 20th century, diplomatic correspondence, theories of nationalism and minorities, and international relations.
