Manoela Carpenedo is Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen. A social scientist and ethnographer, she investigates the complex intersections of grassroots Christian movements, culture, and politics within the Global South.

Paul Freston is Emeritus Professor of Religion and Politics in Global Context at the Balsillie School of International Affairs and Wilfrid Laurier University.
