Biography

Lisa D. Hinz, PhD, ATR-BC ® is a professor and the director of the art therapy psychology doctoral program at Dominican University of California. Dr. Hinz is the author of many professional publications and three books on art therapy.

 

Maria Riccardi is an art therapist, guidance counselor, and psychotherapist supporting children, adolescents, and families. She is a full-time professor at Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue and a PhD candidate, with completion expected in 2026. A Board Certified Registered Art Therapist SM (ATR-BC®), she integrates clinical practice with research and teaching.

 

Joshua Kin-man Nan, PhD, is a registered art therapist and social worker with interdisciplinary training. He has decades of experience, conducts research, teaches, and studies creative arts therapies and trauma-informed practice.

 

Kathy Gotshall, ATR, LCSW, is an art therapist and educator who founded the first hybrid graduate art therapy program at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College. She is an active workshop instructor and creates expressive mixed media and watercolor art
