Kaushik Roy is Guru Nanak Chair Professor in the Department of History, Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India. He was a Global Fellow at Peace Research Institute Oslo, Norway till January 2023. He specialises in Eurasian military history. His latest book is A Global History of Warfare and Technology: From Slings to Robots (2022).
