Biography
Todd Dunn grew up in the deep South in family-owned businesses where he learned the value of hard work, teamwork, integrity and frugality. Todd received his undergraduate degree in marketing from the University of Utah and his MBA in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University. Todd has worked for notable companies such as Cisco, Siemens, McKesson, GE, Intermountain Healthcare, Advocate Health, and is now the CEO of Accuryn Medical. Todd’s deep interest in innovation started during his operations role at McKesson. From there he went to GE where he had a dual role of leading operations for a software division of GE Healthcare and participating in the early design of what eventually became branded as GE Fast Works. Todd then joined Intermountain Healthcare as the Director of Innovation and led the creation of the system’s innovation approach branded Design for People. He and his team also documented the process of how to innovate internally and with the external world as part of Design for People. From there Todd went on to be the enterprise vice president of innovation for Atrium and Advocate Health where his team and he designed and deployed Design for Impact; an enterprise innovation system. Todd became the CEO of Accuryn Medical, after being a customer at Atrium/Advocate Health, in March of 2025. In 2023, Modern Healthcare named Todd one of Healthcare’s Top 25 innovators. Todd has been featured with Steve Blank, included in Clay Christensens et. Al’s Competing Against Luck, has consulted with and led investments in many startups, and has been on multiple podcasts and given keynotes based on his effective approach to deploying an innovation system that drive transformative outcomes.
