Biography

Sabby Sagall was born in 1937 in London to Russian Jewish parents, refugees from Nazi Europe. He received a BA in Philosophy at King's College London and an MSc in Political Sociology at the London School of Economics. He was the editor of Views Quarterly Magazine and has been a regular contributor to Socialist Review and Socialist Worker. He is a former Senior Lecturer in Sociology at the University of East London. He is the author of Final Solutions: Human Nature, Capitalism and Genocide (Pluto Press, London, 2013) and Music and Capitalism: Melody, Harmony and Rhythm in the Modern World (Palgrave Macmillan, New York, 2021).
