Biography
Gina Baleria is assistant professor of digital media, media writing, and journalism at Sonoma State University, California, USA, and former broadcast and digital journalist. She produces and hosts the podcast News in Context (@NewsInContextSF). Her research interests include digital media literacy, engagement across difference, and the practice of doing journalism.
