While various factors are enablers of effective supply chains, no enabler is more important today than information technology.  Paul Myerson’s latest book connects physical supply chains with information supply chains.  It is a timely and relevant resource for any manager seeking to leverage information technology to create the digital supply chain of tomorrow... today!

-- Robert J. Trent, Ph.D., Supply Chain Management Professor Emeritus, Lehigh University

Countless enterprises continue to exhaust time and money developing Lean and Agile Supply Chain networks.  However, in today’s increasingly complex and volatile global ecosystem, it is more imperative than ever that supply chain leaders employ the appropriate technological resources to successfully navigate it with the required levels of agility and resiliency.  Myerson’s new book boldly dives right into this by providing readers and industry professionals with a blueprint to understanding, selecting, and implementing technologies that are not only responsive to today's challenges but actually help anticipate those of tomorrow to truly maximize the potential of global supply chain networks.

-- William J. Bajor, Ph.D., Assistant Vice Chancellor, Academic and Student Affairs, Office of the Chancellor, Pennsylvania's State System of Higher Education

I am excited to see this cutting-edge book that provides a comprehensive view of the modern supply chain—seamlessly connecting core components such as equipment, software systems, strategies, and emerging technologies. It’s a valuable read for anyone looking to understand or shape the smart, digital supply chains of the future.
