Biography

Dr. Martin J. Dedman is currently a visiting Research Scholar at the McBride Center for International Business, Baylor University, Texas and is a former Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University (1970-2007).

Martin Dedman's book is a lively, trenchant and concise survey of the EU's development. It well illustrates many of the significant tensions among member states, and the gaps between rhetoric and reality in the EU.
