Biography

Josephine Machon is a writer, researcher and Professor and Senior Research Fellow at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London, UK. She has published widely on immersive and experiential practice and is the author of The Punchdrunk Encyclopaedia (2019), Immersive Theatres: Intimacy and Immediacy in Contemporary Performance (2013) and (Syn)aesthetics: Redefining Visceral Performance (2009, 2011).
