Biography
Lissi Athanasiou-Krikelis is Associate Professor in the Humanities, and Director of Interdisciplinary Studies at New York Institute of Technology. Her research focuses on postmodern metafiction in both children’s and mainstream fiction, and, whenever possible, she weaves into her research contemporary Greek literature. Her articles have appeared in various edited volumes as well as peer-reviewed journals, such as the Journal of Modern Greek Studies, The Lion and the Unicorn, Children’s Literature Quarterly, Bookbird, International Research in Children’s Literature, and Narrative.
