Biography
Thomas B. Fischer is a Reader in the Department of Civic Design at Liverpool University, UK, a Visiting Professor in the Research Centre for Strategic Environmental Assessment at Nankai University, Tianjin, China, chair of the SEA section of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA) and an associate research member of the Viessmann Research Centre on Modern Europe at Wilfrid Laurier University, Ontario, Canada. He is author of SEA in Transport and Land Use Planning (2002) and co-editor of the Handbook of SEA (2007).
