Biography

Azza Karam is President of Lead Integrity, and Director of the Kahane-United Nations Program at Occidental College, in New York, USA. A scholar and practitioner of religion, development, humanitarian action, gender, and multilateralism, she has worked for more than three decades across the United Nations system, academia, and international civil society. Her publications include Religion, Development and the United Nations (2012), Religion and Development Post-2015 (2015), Realizing the Faith Dividend (2016), and Why Working Multi-Religiously Matters (2022).
