Biography

Subrata Borgohain Gogoi is the dean of the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Energy and a professor in the Department of Petroleum Technology at Dibrugarh University, Assam, India. A distinguished academic with over three decades of experience, her expertise spans enhanced oil recovery, oilfield-produced water treatment, and rheology. She has led numerous international research projects with collaborators in the United States, Canada, Tunisia, and the United Kingdom and holds 14 patents for her innovative work. Dr. Gogoi is a dedicated mentor, having supervised 16 PhD scholars to completion. She is also a prolific author, with over 85 peer-reviewed journal articles, 14 book chapters, 50 conference papers, and 5 books. Her contributions to the field have been recognized with multiple awards. She actively advances her discipline through her roles as a reviewer and editorial board member for leading international journals, focusing on petroleum technology and environmental sustainability.
