Biography
Pankaj Sood, graduate in 1992 from the D. G C Negi College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University, Palampur, India. Subsequently, the author completed his M.V.Sc., with a Gold Medal, and Ph.D. (as an in- service candidate), respectively, in 1995 and 2005, in the discipline of Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana, Punjab, India. As a process of academic pursuit, the author undertook post-doctoral studies on cow infertility in Israel during 2013-14. Dr. Sood was an ICAR-JRF topper (Veterinary Gynaecology and Obstetrics) and has several other fellowships, scholarships and international travel grants to his credit. The author has worked in teaching, research, public outreach and administration for over 29 years. Currently, he is a Professor and Head of the Department of Veterinary Gynaecolgy and Obstetrics in Palampur.
