Biography

Jacopo Maria Pepe served until the end of 2020 as a Research Associate in the Global Issues Division at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs in Berlin, Germany. His areas of expertise include: Global and Regional Connectivity, Transport, Logistics, Energy Policy, Value and Supply Chains, Trade in Eurasia (including Eastern Europe and China), Regional Cooperation and Alliances (EAEU, BRI), the Eastern Partnership, and Global Governance / International Order.
