Biography

Dr. David S-K. Ting is the founder of the Turbulence & Energy Laboratory. Professor Ting studies numerous topics including flow turbulence and renewable energy. Over his 29 years of tenure in the Department of Mechanical, Automotive, and Materials Engineering, University of Windsor, Dr. Ting has co/supervised ninety plus (post)graduate students, co-authored over two hundred journal papers, authored five textbooks, and co-edited forty volumes.

 

Dr. Abimbola Grace Oyeyi is an Assistant professor at the University of Windsor where she is establishing the Sustainable Transportation and Pavement (STAP) Laboratory. With over 13 years of experience in both research and industry, Dr. Oyeyi specializes in transportation infrastructure and construction management. Her current research focuses on developing sustainable construction materials and low-impact pavement design, materials, and management strategies. Additionally, she is exploring the effects of climate change on materials and infrastructure, focusing on their resilience and adaptability to shifting environmental conditions.
