Valerio Zanetti is the Sir John Elliott Junior Research Fellow in History at Oriel College, University of Oxford, UK. His recent publications examine Baroque court portraiture, early modern fashion and beauty, dress and embodiment in the Renaissance, galanterie and parlour games, women’s political uniforms in Revolutionary France.
