Biography

Emilio Chuvieco is a professor of Geography and the director of the Chair of Environmental Ethics at the University of Alcalá, Spain. He holds a DPhil in Theology from the University of Oxford, UK, and a PhD in Geography from the University of Alcala, Spain. He is a member of the Spanish Academy of Sciences.
