Lena Wängnerud

My main research areas are: (1) Representative democracy with a particular focus on issues of women's political influence and gender equality. (2) Gender and corruption where I compare countries with each other but also regions within one and the same country. Here I have a particular focus on conditions in Europe. (3) The role of anxiety for democracy and social development.
