I work in ancient philosophy of science, ethics and social/political philosophy (including applied ethics, philosophy of law, justice and human rights), and philosophy and literature.

Michael Boylan is the author of 27 books and over 120 articles on philosophy and literature.  He has been an invited speaker at major universities in 13 countries including: Oxford, Cambridge, Manchester, Sorbonne (Paris IV), Cologne, Twente, Delft, The Katholic University of Leuven, Copenhagen, Oslo, The Australian National University, Melbourne University, et al.  Boylan has served on high level government committees and has been a fellow at major think tanks.
