BiographyProfessor K.C.Raveendranathan obtained his B.Sc.(Engg.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 1984, M.E. in Electrical Communication Engineering in 1993 and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2011. He worked in Bharath Electronics Limited Bangalore from March 1985 to June 1988 in the Broadcast Transmitters R&D group, where he was given an award by the management for suggesting a new corporate motto: “Quality, Technology, Innovation” in 1987. He joined the College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram in 1988 as Lecturer, promoted as Assistant Professor in 1994 and Professor in 2001. He was on deputation to the Centre for Development of Imaging Technology (C-DIT) Thiruvananthapuram, during 1989-1990, as Deputy Director (Audio Systems). Currently he is working as a Principal and Professor in LBS Institute of Technology for Women Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram-695012. Prof. Raveendranathan has over 25 years of teaching service in various reputed Government Engineering Colleges in Kerala. He has published over 15 papers in national/international conferences and journals and guided over a dozen UG projects and over 12 M.Tech. theses. He also authored 5 text books. He is a reviewer for AMSE Journal and the Else Vier Journal on Non Linear Systems. He is a life member of ISTE (LM2405) since 1988, Life Fellow of IETE (F052279L), Life Fellow and Chartered Engineer of IE (India) (F1135224L), a Senior member of IEEE (M40083117), and Life Member of International Rough Sets Society (IRSS). He is also a Life Member of the Science Advisory Board.
