I have been in forensic science my entire career, first in a crime lab in Virginia and since then I have been teaching and doing research at Metropolitan State College in Denver, Michigan State University, and Indiana University in Indianapolis, where I retired in 2012 as Director of the Forensic and Investigative Sciences Program and Chair of the Department of Chemistry
