BiographyAmnon Lev was born in Israel but grew up in Denmark. After law school he practised as a lawyer while studying classics and philosophy. He has subsequently studied in Freiburg (Albert-Ludwigs Universität) and Paris (École des Hautes Études in Sciences Sociales).
He was visiting professor at Paris-II (Assas) in the spring semester of 2015 and is a permanent fellow of the Orville Scheel Jr. Centre for International Human Rights (Yale).
He is married and the father of a two-year old son.
