Amnon Lev
Amnon Lev is associate professor of political jurisprudence at the University of Copenhagen. He is the author of three books, including a monograph on philosophy and political thought in Aristotle and a study of the rise and fall of natural law: Sovereignty and Liberty. A Study of the Foundations of Power (Routledge, 2014). He has written numerous scholarly articles dealing with topics of political philosophy and foundational questions of public law and public international law.

Biography
Amnon Lev was born in Israel but grew up in Denmark. After law school he practised as a lawyer while studying classics and philosophy. He has subsequently studied in Freiburg (Albert-Ludwigs Universität) and Paris (École des Hautes Études in Sciences Sociales).He was visiting professor at Paris-II (Assas) in the spring semester of 2015 and is a permanent fellow of the Orville Scheel Jr. Centre for International Human Rights (Yale).
He is married and the father of a two-year old son.
