Joe Deer

Joe Deer is the Distinguished Professor of Musical Theatre and Artistic Director of Wright State University’s Department of Theatre, Dance and Motion Pictures, where he is also Director of The Musical Theatre Initiative. A veteran director, choreographer and performer on Broadway, regionally and internationally, he is author of Directing in Musical Theatre: an essential guide and Acting in Musical Theatre: a comprehensive course (co-author Rocco Dal Vera).
