Arpad Szakolczai
Arpad Szakolczai’s work is at the intersection of social theory, historical sociology and political anthropology. It reassesses the links between Europe, modernity and globalization in a long-term historical perspective. He has an intercultural background: born and educated in Hungary, he gained a PhD in US, lived and taught in Italy, currently teaching in Ireland, while spent extended time in Germany, France, and the UK.
