Bill Jones

I was educated at Aberystwyth University and briefly entered the Civil Service in 1970 but left to join the Extra-Mural Studies Dept at the University of Manchester where I became Director,1986-91. I moved on to become Professor of Politics and History at Liverpool Hope University 2007-14. I have written scores of articles and chapters on British politics, over 30 books and edited three series for MUP, and have also done a fair bit of local broadcasting.
