I am interested in researching on the Middle east politics, Ethno-politics, international relations, social movement and Nationalism themes. My new book can be a key research to highlight unseen aspects of the Kurdish politics in the middle east and elaborating a new kurdish movement (KCK) particularly in Turkey.

Biography

I am an independent junior British-Kurdish academic, originally from Kurdistan. Studied primary and secondary school in the compulsory refugee camp in the Kurdish part of Iraq. I have received BA degree in sociology in Salahadin University-Kurdistan. In 2001, I arrived in the UK as a refugee and settled down in here ever since. After learning English language in the first few years, between 2004-2008, I received another BA and MA degrees in Sociology at the University of Wolverhampton. I received PhD in Middle East Politics at the University of Exeter in 2014. I have delivered lecturers in domestic and international universities.

Areas of Research / Professional Expertise

    I can humbly state that I am familiar and expert in the area of Kurdish studies, Kurdish politics and society across the Middle East.  I have an interest in researching in the fields of Nationalism, Social and political Movements, Politics and International Relations.

Personal Interests

    I love mountains and climbing on them. Swimming is another interest. Music always and dance sometimes.
