Dr Anthony J Rhem is a Management Consulting and IT professional with over 30 years of experience. Dr. Rhem has worked with fortune 500 corporations in retail, communications, financial, insurance, legal, healthcare and the military in implementing strategies, policies and solutions centered on Knowledge Management (KM), Information Architecture (IA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, and Cognitive Computing.
Biography
Dr. Rhem serves as an advisor to several organization. His advisory work includes Chairman - Board of Trustees Knowledge Systems Institute, Corporate Advisory Board ASCII Group, Industry Advisory Board – International Conference on Software Engineering and Knowledge Engineering (SEKE), Technology Council of Advisors Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG), International Bar Association (IBA) Law Firm Management Sub-committee on Knowledge Management and IT, and Member of the National Science Foundation Review Panel in the areas of Cognitive Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Knowledge Management and Education.As a past member of the board of directors of System Integrators Inc. (SII) from 1996-1999; participated as the Chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee on the successful debt restructuring of SII (1998). Participated in the analysis of a possible merger or possible acquisition of an Australian based publishing software company that lead to a successful directional change for SII. In addition, as Chairman of the Audit and Finance Committee, performed an integral role in the successful purchase of SII to Publishing Systems, Inc. (1999).
As a professor and corporate instructor, Dr. Rhem has trained hundreds of personnel in the principles, practice and application of strategic management, information architecture, software engineering and knowledge management.
