Having worked as a stage manager in the Los Angeles area, I transitioned into directing. I found that those assigned to work for me as stage manager had no clue as to how to do the job. I gathered examples of my past work and formed a rough manual on stage management. That's how this book was born.
Biography
Raised in Cleveland, Ohio. Attended public schools and local university. Served in the Air Force, directing armed forces radio and television service on the island of Crete. Stage Managed in Los Angeles area and in Sacramento. Directed community theatre and taught ESL for Los Angeles Unified School District. Counseled at the high school level and retired as Assistant Principal of adult counseling. Moved to Santa Cruz and became publicist for the Gold Standard Barbershop Chorus.Education
