Dr. Ritwik Sarkar is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ceramic Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, India. His academic qualifications are a B. Tech (1993), M. Tech (1995) and PhD (2003). Also he had post-doctoral research work in IKKM, Aachen, Germany. He has about 4 years of Industrial experience, 7 years of Research experience in National Institute and 6 years of Teaching experience. Dr. Sarkar has about 100 Journal publications and 50 presented papers and 10 patents to his credit and have received numerous medals, awards, prizes for Academic excellence. A life member of Indian Ceramic Society and Fellow of Indian Institute of Ceramics, Dr Sarkar has current research interests in spinel, refractories, castables and advanced bio-ceramics.Areas of Research / Professional Expertise
