Dr Adaeze Okoye is a senior lecturer in English Company Law at the University of Brighton.

Biography
Adaeze Okoye was a lecturer at Aberystwyth University and a graduate teaching assistant (GTA) at the University of Hull. She is an alumni of the Institute for Global Law and Policy (IGLP) workshop, Harvard Law School 2010 and was a visiting fellow of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies (IALS), London (October 2015–April 2016). Dr Okoye is also a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and an academic fellow of the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple.She completed her undergraduate degree in law at the University of Benin, Nigeria and her master’s degree at the University of Dundee, Scotland (Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy - CEPMLP). She also holds a PhD in law from the University of Hull.
Dr Okoye is a fellow of the Higher Education Academy(HEA).
