Carool Kersten is Reader (Associate Professor) in the Study of Islam and the Muslim World at King's College London. He specializes in the politics and the intellectual history of the modern and contemporary Muslim world. Biography
Carool Kersten is a Senior Lecturer in the Study of Islam and the Muslim World at King's College London. He has also lectured at the Open University and the Institute of Ismaili Studies in the UK, served on the faculty of the Institute for Southeast Asian Studies at Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thailand and acted as academic director for a US-based Study-Abroad Programme in Thailand.Education
