Assistant Professor of English

My research is located at the intersections of childhood studies and queer theory, and I am currently working on a book that examines how the “unbecoming” child complicates the hopes and debts we place on childhood. My publications include the collection Childhood and Pethood in Literature and Culture: New Perspectives in Childhood Studies and Animal Studies (Routledge 2017), co-edited with Anna Feuerstein.
