Robert Knopf has directed at New York's historic Town Hall, Circle in the Square Downtown, Circle Rep Lab, Paradise Factory, Cherry Lane Studio, and for the National Public Radio series "The Archaeology of Lost Voices." His books include the two-volume anthology "Theater of the Avant-Garde," "The Theater and Cinema of Buster Keaton," and "Script Analysis for Theatre.' He is professor of theater and past chair at the University at Buffalo/SUNY.
