Céline Buchs is PhD in Social psychology and senior lecturer in the Department of Educational Sciences at the University of Geneva. Biography

Céline Buchs is PhD in Social psychology and senior lecturer in the Department of
Educational Sciences at the University of Geneva. She is teaching social psychology of
education, sociocognitive processes and research methodology. She is involved in trainings for pre-service and in-service teachers. Her work is related to social influence in academic situations and to cooperative learning. She received the 2010 Outstanding Contributions to Cooperative Learning Award from the American Educational Research Association (Cooperative Learning: Theory, Research , and Practice Special Interest Group).  She conducted intervention in schools in order to foster the quality of the relationships and learning.
