Patricia has 30 years of experience in healthcare and enjoys teaching hands-on workshops and on-line courses.

Biography

As Founder and President of PM Healthcare Consulting, LLC (PMHC), Patricia Morrill is a national speaker sharing her expertise in leading organizational change.  She authored a 10-step model, Process Improvement Strategy Deployment (© 2012) that is included in her new book, The Perils of Un-Coordinated Healthcare: A Strategic Approach Toward Eliminating Preventable Harm.  Her research paper on utilizing risk assessments for more informed decision making titled “Risk Assessments as Standard Work in Design” was published in The Healthcare Environmental Design and Research (HERD) Journal in 2013.

Patricia functions as a partner with senior leadership in education and motivational change management to take their organizations to the next level of engagement.  She has more than 30 years of healthcare experience spanning operations leadership, project management, process improvement facilitation, work flow and facility assessment, as well as Lean facility planning.  With previous employment at large Midwest healthcare systems and an architectural design firm, she brings a unique full-spectrum perspective and skill set to the integration of operations and healing, healthcare environments.

Patricia enjoys teaching hands-on workshops as well as on-line courses.  A Project Management Professional (PMP) and an accredited professional in Evidence-Based Design (EDAC), she is certified in both Lean Healthcare and Six Sigma Green Belt. She serves as Education Chair for the ASQ Lean Enterprise Division; is a professional member of the National Speaker’s Association and a professional affiliate with the Center for Health Design.

Personal Interests

    Patricia enjoys her weekly visits to an assisted living facility playing piano while her husband and pet therapy dog visit with the residents.
