Bruce K. Vaughen Author of Evaluating Organization Development

Bruce K. Vaughen

Our book on effectively managing the risks of hazardous materials and energies - also known as chemical process safety - has been developed over the last decade through our global interactions and experiences in engineering, research, management, consulting, and instruction. Per Isaac Newton: “If I have seen further than others, it is by standing upon the shoulders of giants.”

Bruce has more than two and a half decades of process safety experience, including engineering, research, consulting, and teaching experiences in DuPont, DuPont Teijin Films, Cabot, and BakerRisk, and as a visiting assistant professor at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

In addition to this CRCPress book on process safety, he was the principal author for two AIChE Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) Guidelines:
1) CCPS Guidelines for Integrating Management Systems and Metrics to Improve Process Safety Performance (Wiley, 2016)
2) CCPS Guidelines for Siting and Layout of Facilities, Second Edition (Wiley, expected Fall 2017)
