A systems and audit professional with 23 years experience in the Governance, Risk & Compliance space. She has worked in Grant Thornton in the Business Risk Services; carried out enterprise risk, third party audits and business continuity rollout type of assignments.

Worked with KPMG London in the FS Technology Risk section and carried out IT audits in the financial services space. Spearheaded a strategic offshoring project as Project Manager from UK for 6 divisions of technology at KPMG UK and was responsible for successful implementation.

Director with Valsec Solutions where she carries out assignments in information security standards implementation and business impact analysis. She believes in knowledge sharing and perceives it as a means to progress and career success.

    As assurance professional interests range from internal audit, controls and compliance. Research areas have always focused on business requirements and how best governance initiatives can be met optimally by aligning IT with business to give best results. I have worked on following core areas-
