Biography

As a Director of Psychological Assistance Limited, I provide neuropsychological assessment, diagnosis and treatment as part of my Medico Legal and Personal Injury work. For the most part, my clinical clients are located in the East and West Midlands, Lincolnshire and Central London. In addition, I assess neuropsychological and cognitive ability, mental capacity, suitability for community disposal, and the ability to work, and I submit reports for civil and criminal courts and employment tribunals.

Currently, I also hold ongoing positions with the NHS as a clinical psychologist in paediatric neuropsychology and a consultant clinical neuropsychologist in adult rehabilitation. My experience includes outpatient and community based services for people with acquired brain injury and central nervous system issues. I have worked in high secure forensics involving dangerous and severe personality disorder, and severe and enduring mental health. I frequently provided, and still provide one-to-one therapy, and I facilitate group sessions.

My qualifications include a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, an MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology, and an honours degree in psychology. In recent years, I undertook Expert Witness Training via Bond Solon and the British Psychological Society (BPS). I am an Associate Fellow of BPS, a Chartered Psychologist, and registered to practice by the Health and Care Professions Council.

As a practicing Clinical Neuropsychologist and Clinical Psychologist, I am dedicated, empathic and highly skilled in helping my clients overcome brain and central nervous difficulties, and mental health issues. Working for legal professionals and preparing reports under the Mental Capacity Act, I am meticulous, pragmatic and completely reliable. I enjoy all aspects of my vocation from helping individuals, to writing research articles and books, and providing impartial expert evidence in support of justice.
