BiographyAfter receiving my Ph.D. in 1976 and doing a two-year postdoctoral residency at the University of California-San Francisco, I was for more than three decades a staff psychologist for Kaiser Permanente in Northern California. I also have authored and edited a dozen books, and have taught numerous workshops and given keynote speeches both across the U.S. and internationally.
I live in Northern California with Jennifer (my wife) and Maxie (a German shepherd) and Kingster (a Maine coon cat). We have one son (Alex), who is married.
